St Chad’s Academies Trust holds the ultimate responsibility for each individual academy, the Trust delegates certain responsibilities to the Local Academy Committee. This ensures that the academy is aligned to the vision, ethos and strategic direction of the Trust, holding the Principal to account for the educational performance of the academy and its pupils and oversees the financial performance of the academy ensuring value for money.
In essence you are working on behalf of the Trust and therefore a good working relationship based on trust, respect and aspirations for all our pupils is critical to success.
The Trust is the Lichfield Diocesan Multi Academy Trust and, as such, is rooted in our Christian foundation. The Trust works to secure transformational outcomes for young people by combining academic rigor with a rounded approach to personal development, rooted in the worship and other shared practices that characterise the life of their community.
Effective governance in the trust will be supported through the following;
- Trust Members – guardians of the organisation
- Trust Board – Trustees
- LAC (Local Academy Committee)
- Trust Subcommittees – Risk and Audit, Compliance and Raising Achievement.
- Executive Team – CEO, Director of Operations, Director of Finance and Estates, Director of Learnig
